Trebbiano di Lugana je tradičná talianska odroda bieleho hrozna, známa aj ako Verdicchio. Najviac sa pestuje v oblasti Lombardia. Vína z nej sú výrazne ovocné s jemným bylinným charakterom a minerálnou koncovkou. 

The history of Lugana Riserva dates back to 1993 when Sergio first understood the potential of the Trebbiano di Lugana grape. The Reserva embodies his innovative and foresight spirit, as well as the courage to propose the Lugana in a renewed style. 

Vinification

The fermentation takes place at around 70% in 50 hectolitre oak casks and 300 litre tonneaux and 30% in steel. Ageing follows for around 6 months in barrels and 12 months in the bottle before being put on the market.

Food pairing suggestions

Suitable for numerous matches, with soups, pasta with white sauces, medium ripe cheeses, perfect with fish but also superb just by itself.
